We got dates! July 24 preop and 25th surgery. We packed up the rental apartment and left Boston - we just couldn’t afford to stay there for 10 days waiting between procedures.
We had an epic drive from MA to MD. We got stuck in every traffic jam last night - it took us almost 12 hours to get to my sisters in MD at 2 am
who knew there was standstill traffic at 9 and 11 pm 😱 Aaron was such a trooper and got us all to MD safely and the kids did so well in the car❤️ They enjoyed seeing NYC from the highway and getting NY style pizza.
Aaron will fly home to squeeze in some work and then fly back next weekend.
Lots of traveling and trying to roll with plans changing.
