Update - cath is done and echo is done. He did well. There were no interventions they could at this time. He had a few areas that were slightly narrowed that we discussed stinting but they aren’t severe enough yet. They are leaning towards the pacemaker CRT to help his ventricles beat more efficiently. It won’t be a magic bullet and it might not help at all but with his heart rate dropping so low it should at least help with that. We won’t know anything until tomorrow when the surgeon can weigh in. We are still waiting for them to wake him up so we can see him. Anxious to see my baby
Update -
the surgeon that was suppose to operate on M tomorrow is now doing a heart transplant so any possibility of surgery tomorrow is off. Transplants are intense and he will be operating until the early morning tomorrow. So if we do surgery it will be next week at the earliest and that’s a big maybe. What is it they say about the best laid plans? Looks like we may be staying in Boston for longer then we thought
