Surgeon said everything went as well as anyone could hope in these cases...no complications/issues. Macsen is recovering & will have breathing tube till tomorrow morning at least. Next 48 hours are critical..pray for his heart to mend with no bleeding. Pray for him to "remember" how to breathe on his own when they remove the tube. Pray for him to "remember" how to eat too..his discharge will be based on his progress with eating/gaining weight. So thankful for answered prayers so far...appreciating all those prayer warriors out there!
We have a chain of people praying for him, and he has been added to the bulletin prayer list at church so everyone will continue to pray for him. I am so grateful to our Lord and Savior that all turned out so well, and to the surgical team for their talents in performing this surgery to save him. Again, give Glory to God!
